Collaborate with the Board of Directors, Management Team, Regulators and Stakeholders inclusive of clients, to ensure a successful merger, by co-ordinating and managing the Merger Project, through the effective use of the operational, human resource, communication, information technology and regulatory plans.
Collaborate with the IT Vendor/Provider, IT department and subject matter experts (SME) to map, test (SIT and UAT) and implement the respective IT platform which includes:
· Being the liaison between the vendor and the organization
· Assist organization and vendor with system design.
· Assist accounting team with GL mapping, design of chart of accounts and transaction mapping.
· Document, test, report and resolve system issues.
· Work with SME’s and department heads to identify gaps and workarounds
· Prepare user guides and workflows
· Assist with system training
· Update procedures and/or policies
Prepare the new product template which outlines the regulatory, operational and accounting requirements.
Work with the IT Staff, IT vendor/provider, regulator, attorneys, respective department heads and staff to do product mapping, testing (SIT and UAT), procedures, training, implementation and rollout.
Observe and examine the organization’s “AS IS” procedures and make recommendations for the “TO BE” processes in line with current industry best practice.
Collaborate with the management team and subject matter experts in the development of workflows, policies and procedures, job descriptions and accountability, training material and implementation.

Mrs. Andrea Whittaker, Business Optimization Specialist and Managing Director of Mosaic Strategic Services LLC has over 33 years’ experience within the financial sector in the areas of commercial banking, building society, investment banking and credit union. She has held numerous positions in customer service, banking operations, stock broking administration, total quality management, general management and strategic management.
She holds a BSc (Honors) in Banking and Finance, a Diploma in Management Studies and Certificates in Sales; Securities Management; Project Management; Business Process Modelling; Back Office and Operational Risk Management; Back Office Management; Mutual Funds; Credit Administration and Advanced Anti Money Laundering.
Mrs. Whittaker began her career at the Bank of Nova Scotia. Jamaica and also worked with Eagle Commercial Bank, Caldon Finance Merchant Bank, Capital & Credit Financial Group and UWI (Mona) & Community Co-operative Credit Union Limited where she held the position of General Manager for the period March 2008 to February 2015 and for the period February to March 2015 was assigned the role of General Manager, Merger Activities, after-which she assumed the role of Merger Project Consultant in April 2015.
In August 2015 she assumed the role of Consultant at Credit Union Fund Management Company Limited and joined the company as a permanent employee in January 2016 where she held the position of Manager, Business Operations & Support in charge of Project Management, Operations Management and Pension Administration. She held this position until her resignation at the end of February 2018.
For the period December 2015 to January 2017, Mrs. Whittaker also worked as Project Manager for the Hanover/Montego Credit Unions Merger (now Gateway Co-operative Credit Union (2017) Limited. She also provided consultancy services on behalf of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League for the period 2008 to 2016.
This entailed the review, redesign and documentation of procedures for the respective credit union which was forwarded to the league for implementation.
After working as a consultant with Mayberry Investments Limited for the period 2018 to 2019, she joined the firm as the Chief Operating Officer in January 2020. During her tenure she had direct responsibility and oversite for the Operations and Information Technology areas of the company.
Some major achievement included the transformation of the operations, technology and streamlining of the company’s budgeting and strategic planning process.
Mrs. Whittaker was assigned the responsibilities of Mayberry’s digitization project in July 2022 (the 3rd year in the project) and led the successful implementation of nineteen (19) modules and two incomplete modules inherited from the previous team. The implementation included, data cleansing, data migration, building out of the transaction accounting and the design of the transactional and product and services workflows within the software.
